Personal Financial Management Behavior Based on Financial Knowledge, Locus of Control, and Income (Empirical Study of Demak Regency Community)
This study aims to examine the effect of financial knowledge, locus of control and income on
personal financial management behavior. The population of civil servants and private sector
in Demak Regency, the number of samples consisted of 99 respondents. The sample method
used is multi-stage sampling, using stratified sampling and convenience sampling. Analysis
using multiple linear regressions. The results showed that financial knowledge did not
significantly influence personal financial management behavior, locus of control and income
had a significant effect on personal financial management behavior.
